DUNCANVILLE—It all came down to just one game. The Duncanville Pantherettes (39-2) faced Houston Cypress-Ranch (32-7) at the Alamodome in San Antonio last Saturday night for the girl’s state basketball championship.

Duncanville Police Seek Shooters In Holiday Inn Express Robbery

Duncanville police have identified the persons of interest involved in last week’s hotel robbery. This week police identified and arrested the person of interest in this robbery. He is a 14-year-old Juvenile so his name is being withheld. Another juvenile in this case has been identified and charged as a suspect . A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

“As coaches, our job is to train and educate the whole student. It does little good if the athlete is a good player, but fails his studies. To help insure he passes, all his courses are paramount for our staff. He either passes his school work or he won’t play on the football team,” Coach Samples said.
