ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Midlothian is seeking qualified parties interested in providing fencing at two City Parks. SEALED PROPOSALS addressed to the City of Midlothian, Purchasing Agent, will be received at the Midlothian City Hall until 10:00 am on Thursday, November 21, 2024, for the purpose of selecting a fencing contractor that will provide material, equipment, and labor for Fencing Projects at two City Parks for the City of Midlothian.
Deadline for questions will be Friday, November 15, 2024 and responses to questions will be released by Monday, November 18, 2024. Note: All questions, answers, and changes, if any, will be issued by ADDENDA and posted to the City website. Questions should be emailed to Nery Pena at nery.pena@midlothian.tx.us .
Sealed envelopes shall be marked “2024-16 CITY OF MIDLOTHIAN RFP PARKS FENCING PROJECT. – DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 A.M. ON Thursday, November 21, 2024. To be eligible for consideration under this request, one (1) electronic (USB) copy, one original hard copy, and one legible hard of the proposal shall be submitted to the address below. Proposals received after that time at the City address will not be accepted and will not be returned.

No bid may be changed, amended or modified by telegram or otherwise after the above time and date. A bid may be, however, withdrawn and resubmitted any time prior to the time set for receipt of bids. No bids will be accepted by fax, email, or other electronic method.
BID DOCUMENTS will be located on the City of Midlothian website at https://www.midlothian.tx.us/bids.aspx beginning November 4, 2024. All official notifications, addenda and other documents will be offered only through this website. For questions relating to the proposal, please email, nery.pena@midlothian.tx.us .
In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality in connection therewith. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after date on which bids are opened.
The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The city also reserves the right to purchase these items through state awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the best interest of the city.
