Our active weather continues today with a dreary, muggy day, but the end of our forecast gets quite cool as a big cold front looms.

This morning a few showers are passing through, and we should only see a few more as the bulk of the activity stays to our north and west. It will be muggy with highs in the low 80’s, and a bit gusty with winds out of the south.

Tomorrow we could see a few showers/storms during the day with more southerly winds, but the highest coverage arrives for our area tomorrow night into Thursday morning. Friday a few scattered showers/thunderstorms will be possible, mostly in the afternoon/evening hours. Saturday a few more showers/storms are possible, but should be low coverage.

Sunday we’ll be watching for that front as it looks to arrive late Sunday/early Monday. Showers/storms will be possible as it moves through, and it’s unclear yet if we should expect any severe weather. What we are pretty confident of is the much cooler temps Monday. We will see temps topping out in the low 60’s, with some in the upper 50’s. Get ready for a chilly Halloween!
