Dallas Men’s Clothier Trybus Starts Construction on DeSoto Distribution Center

DESOTO—Last week Dallas-based men’s clothier Trybus broke ground on a new 200,000 square-foot office and distribution center in DeSoto.

The new warehouse, located at 250 E. Centre Park Blvd., will create up to 75 new jobs over a three-year period. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.

“This new 200,000 square foot facility will service the challenging needs of our customers by providing faster and more efficient distribution. It will also address the growing needs of direct to consumer distribution”, said Co-Owner and President Gary Trybus.

The first phase includes a new corporate office and a 150,000 square foot distribution center in DeSoto, Texas. The second phase will add an additional 50,000 square feet for future expansion. The new warehouse will take advantage of the latest technology in inventory management and distribution.

Co-Owner and Vice President, Jack Trybus commented, “Our goal is always to offer exceptional service to our customers. The new facility will enable us to provide just-in-time deliveries, faster processing, and deliveries of replenishment programs. There will also be a major focus on E- Commerce.”

Trybus Group is a privately held company specializing in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high quality, high value men’s tailored clothing. With a showroom in Manhattan, NY and offices in Dallas, Texas, Beijing, China and Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam, Trybus Group has been manufacturing licensed and private label garments for the finest specialty stores and major department stores for over 40 years. Brands include Ibiza, Flynt, The Savile Row Co. and Steve Harvey.

The move to DeSoto is a mutually beneficial one as the City of DeSoto continues to stake it’s logistical foothold in the Trans-Texas Corridor and Trybus continues to grow leaving their 125,000 sq ft facility in Dallas.

“It definitely helps strengthen the economy in not only DeSoto but the Best Southwest,” said Jeremiah Quarles, DeSoto Economic Development Corporation CEO. “[Trybus] has a reputation of being a quality brand. There was also the possibility of making that connection between DeSoto ISD and the apparel industry. So it’s definitely a win-win for us.
