ARLINGTON—WinCo Foods will be hosting a comprehensive Hiring Event at each one of its nine different Dallas-Ft. Worth locations from 9 am to 7 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016.

“WinCo will be looking to fill a variety of positions at all of its locations in North Texas with new employee-owners,” said Noah Fleisher, Winco corporate spokesperson. “This is a chance for enterprising Texans to get their foot in the door with a rapidly expanding company that offers competitive wages, superb benefits, rapid advancement opportunities and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of the community where they work and live.”

The Hiring Event will give interested applicants a chance to go to the store where they want to work. While there, applicants can fill out relevant paperwork and interview with a Store Manager or relevant Supervisor on the spot.

The applicant will then be directed the corporate website, if there is immediate interest.

Innovative Employee Ownership Brand

WinCo Foods opened its first Texas store in McKinney in February 2014. Since then Winco has been rapidly expanding its reach. Currently, North Texas locations include: Fort Worth, Duncanville, North Richland Hills, Denton, Garland, Lewisville and Arlington. The company will be opening locations in Carrollton and Denton, in 2017.

“From the minute a new employee starts their first shift – as long as they’re 19 years old – they start their journey toward an ownership share of WinCo,” said the company spokesperson. “It takes six years to become fully vested, so every hour they work they build their equity. This Hiring Event is a golden opportunity for anyone interested in securing their future in a meaningful way as well as investing in the well-being of their home town.”

WinCo Foods is the seventh largest employee-owned company in the United States. Yearly gross revenues exceeding $6 billion. For more information visit
