The City of DeSoto Planning and Zoning Commission will be conducting a Public Hearing to consider Zoning Case Z-1524-24 to amend PD-20 zoning district to allow for a four (4) story hotel (Country Inn & Suites). The property is located on the west side of Interstate 35E (I-35E) and on the north side of E. Wintergreen Road. The property consists of 4.323 acres of land and is addressed as 1301 Wintergreen Road. The applicant is Kiew Kam and the owner Kalpesh Patel. The public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission will be conducted on Tuesday June 25, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. If the zoning case is recommended for approval, by the Planning Commission; or if denied and appealed, the hearing before the City Council will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

La Comisión de Planificación y Zonificación de la Ciudad de DeSoto llevará a cabo una Audiencia Pública para considerar el Caso de Zonificación Z-1524-24 para enmendar el distrito de zonificación PD-20 para permitir un hotel de cuatro (4) pisos (Country Inn y suites). La propiedad está ubicada en la esquina suroeste de la Interestatal 35E y E Wintergreen Road. La propiedad consta de 4,323 acres de terreno y tiene la dirección 1301 Wintergreen Road. El solicitante es Kiew Kam y el propietario Kalpesh Patel. La audiencia pública ante la Comisión de Planificación y Zonificación se llevará a cabo el martes 25 de junio de 2023 a las 18:00 horas. Si el caso de zonificación es recomendado para aprobación, por la Comisión de Planificación; o en caso de denegación y apelación, la audiencia ante el Ayuntamiento se llevará a cabo el martes 16 de julio de 2024 a las 18:00 horas.
