Klyde Warren Park’s Holiday Show and Tree Lighting will be held from 2-6 p.m. Dec. 1. On the schedule are holiday kids’ crafts plus activities and demonstrations from Dallas arts and cultural friends. Free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food trucks, and holiday music entertainment are also scheduled. A holiday show and lighting of Klyde Warren Park’s Christmas tree close out the evening.

“Make Klyde Warren Park part of your holiday tradition with a festive day of family-friendly activities and entertainment, including photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, crafts, games and refreshments,” said Kit Sawers, president of Klyde Warren Park. “The day will culminate with a special live show featuring Christmas music, the arrival of Santa Claus and our annual tree lighting.”

Following the park’s holiday show at 5:30 p.m. and tree lighting at 6 p.m., Lightwire Theater’s DINO-LIGHT holiday characters will lead the crowd to AT&T Performing Arts Center. Everyone is invited to take the five-minute walk from Klyde Warren Park to the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Reliant Lights Your Holidays festivities will be your reward.

Reliant Lights Your Holidays On AT&T Performing Arts Center Campus

AT&T Performing Arts Center holds their free holiday event, Reliant Lights Your Holidays, on their campus December 1. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. an illumination of hundreds of thousands of dazzling LED lights will glow from the Center’s venues and trees. Univision 23 is official media partner for the event.

Life performances by Sheila E. and Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico are presented by the David M. Crowley Foundation. Free photos with Santa, and a Booker T. Angels booth will accept gift cards or new, unwrapped toys for adopted families. Capping off the evening is a fireworks display in Sammons Park.

“Thousands of people from all over North Texas attend Reliant Lights Your Holidays every year because it’s always a stellar concert, has dazzling fireworks, and it’s all free,” said Debbie Storey, interim president and CEO of AT&T Performing Arts Center. “Staging the amazing is what we do here at the Center, so it’s the perfect gift for us to share with our community.”
