Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) offers Free Covid-19 vaccinations at 5351 Samuell Blvd. this Saturday. GeneIQ Vaccine Direct, a division of GeneIQ, a Molecular Diagnostics company based in Dallas, and DCAC are offering free Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccinations to the general public July 10. The vaccines are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at DCAC.

There is no limit on the number of vaccines GeneIQ will provide during the event. The second doses of the vaccine will be provided at the same location at a later date, to be disclosed to patients. Valid candidates must be ages 12 or older, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The vaccine is free through insurance or through a federal program for those without insurance.

“GeneIQ is thrilled to continue their partnership with and support of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, along with the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, by providing free COVID-19 vaccines to its constituents and to the general public,” says Marisa Howard, Director of Communications for GeneIQ. “We feel that giving back to the community in this way aligns with our mission to impact the greater health and humanity of as many people as possible throughout the pandemic.”

Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center

This partnership with the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center is part of a strategic initiative by GeneIQ’s vaccine direct division to support schools, corporations, and community organizations with zero-cost, on-site COVID-19 vaccinations. An on-site medical team is provided, along with a registration platform, to ensure efficient processing and that all state reporting requirements are met. Patients can receive the vaccine at no cost with insurance or through the federal government program for the uninsured.

DCAC is the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working in agreement with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County. The Center reduces the re-victimization of the child, removes barriers to investigation and treatment, and enhances criminal prosecution with their distinctive multidisciplinary and united approach to these complex and severe cases.

Pre-registration for the event is available at https://usa.quickscreen.health/geneiq-vaccination#/screening, and walk-ins are also welcome.
