Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 15, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 1938 South Hampton Road, Bldg. C, Glenn Heights, Texas, 75154, as prescribed by V.T.C.S., Government Code Section §551.041, to consider and possibly take action on the following:

Planned Development Amendment PD-28 (Amendment): A Public Hearing will be held to consider making a recommendation to City Council of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, regarding amending Ordinance O-843-07, of the City of Glenn Heights, as heretofore amended, by changing the zoning classification from Business Park-Commercial (BP-C) to Commercial (C), for approximately 5.09 acres tract of land described as Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Block B, of Willow Run Addition, and being commonly known as 1523 South Beckley Road, Glenn Heights, Dallas County, Texas to Change the zone from Business Park -Commercial (BP-C) to Commercial (C).

This case is seeking recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission at the July 15, 2024 meeting.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing to provide testimony or express comments regarding this zoning request. If you cannot attend, you may submit comments in writing prior to the Public Hearing to the following:

This case is seeking recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission at the July 15, 2024 meeting.

Land Use Chart Update LD-01-24: A Public Hearing will be held by City Council of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, regarding amending Section 1 (“Use Chart”) of Article XI (“Permitted Uses”) of the “Zoning Ordinance” of Chapter 14 (“Zoning”) to amend the Land Use Chart of the City’s Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
