DeSoto Native Von Miller Partners With Chef’s Cut Jerky
Chef’s Cut Real Jerky proudly announces its partnership with NFL superstar Von Miller, linebacker for the Denver Broncos. As an athlete looking to fuel his body with high-quality protein, Miller will help build brand awareness by communicating the products’ nutritional attributes.
“During football season I push my body to the maximum limit, and lean proteins are a primary dietary component to ensure optimal performance,” explains Miller. “My personal chef and nutritionist recommended Chef’s Cut Real Jerky as a snack that is gluten-free and high in protein, which is all I needed to hear. However, once I bit into a tender piece of Chef’s Cut Real Jerky, I was sold 110 percent. It’s unlike any jerky I’ve ever had. Not only does it check the box for my nutritional needs, but all the product varieties pack tremendous flavor.”
Miller relies heavily on a nutritionist to help keep him in peak physical shape all season long. The ultimate goal for Miller and his nutritionist is to ensure come postseason, his body feels just as good as when he stepped on the field for his first game of the season.
“Until recently, jerky was not really considered a snack for athletes,” says Bart Silvestro, CEO of Chef’s Cut Real Jerky. “This partnership with Von Miller is very exciting for us because he is helping us demonstrate to all athletes that, if they love their steak and buffalo wings, they can get that same high-quality flavor in a healthier form. At Chef’s Cut, we like to call our Real Steak varieties ‘Steak in a Bag.’”

Its available in steak, chicken and turkey varieties.
Chef Blair Swiler and Dennis Riedel created Chef’s Cut Real Jerky. In 2009, the two golf buddies became tired of having to buy terrible jerky every time they played a round of 18 holes. So they teamed up and began smoking and selling the jerky to golf and country clubs across the United States.
Today, their vision is to change the way people, on and beyond the golf course, think about jerky by creating the best tasting, highest quality jerky on the market.
