NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that an initial Public Hearing on the Proposed Operating Budget for the City of Glenn Heights for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 will be conducted by the City Council for the City of Glenn Heights, Texas on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1938 South Hampton Road, Glenn Heights, Texas, 75154. The second and final Public Hearing on the Proposed Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $272,815 or 8.93% and of that amount $151,559 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the roll this year.
Copies of the Proposed Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 are available at the Office of the City Secretary for review. The Proposed Operating Budget is also available on the City’s website: www.glennheightstx.gov
