UPDATE 7/23/2021: Red Oak Police Department says Stoney Ellis was taken into custody in Sulphur, Louisiana early Friday morning. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in bringing this matter to conclusion.
On 7/22/2021, the Red Oak Police Department was contacted by the United States Marshal Service regarding a wanted subject. The United States Marshal Service advised that they have received information that a wanted subject identified as Ellis, Stoney W/M 8/4/1977 may be in the Red Oak, Texas area and provided a wanted poster for the subject.
Ellis is currently wanted on:
1) Accident involving death out of the Ellis County, Texas Sheriff’s Office;
2) Homicide and Escape out of the Bryan County, Oklahoma Sheriff’s Office.
