Father's always love a good steak for their special Sunday

An unusual last year, but happily this Sunday is a time to celebrate Father’s Day and we have some ideas if you are ready to get out and about.

Meddlesome Moth is celebrating Father’s Day with Jester King Tap and some amazing brunch specials. Located in the heart of the Dallas Design District, Meddlesome Moth will be serving brunch specially crafted by Chef Joshua Boneé or you can choose from an a la carte menu. Also showcasing Jester King Brewery from the Texas Hill Country, fathers can choose from over 15 crafted brews. Our menu suggestions? Dad’s Breakfast Skillet, a cornmeal pancake, roasted pork belly, candied pecans, peach bourbon syrup and a 63-degree egg. For dessert, TX Olive Oil Cake is soaked in Grand Marnier and served with apricot chutney, vanilla yogurt, and pistachios. Reservations are recommended and walk-ups welcome. For additional information and to reserve a table call 214-628-7900 or go to www.mothinthe.net.

Rodeo Goat Ice House is celebrating Father’s Day by bringing back The Dad Bod Burger through Sunday, June 20. An all-natural 44 Farms beef patty topped with a fried macaroni & cheese patty, bacon, Fresno mayo, arugula and pickles is drizzled with Rodeo Goat’s signature queso and it has dad written all over it. And for drinks, Rodeo Goat offers a great selection of Texas craft beer as well as craft cocktails. For more information visit www.RodeoGoat.com.

Chimichurri for brunch and I promise, dad will love you for it. From Empanadas to Chorizo Sandwiches and craft cocktails to my favorite; the Empanada Benedict. Chimichurri is in the Bishop Arts District and offers authentic Argentinian food, South American wines, and creative cocktails. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., take note, the cocktail menu was created by accomplished local barman, James Slater who mixes up concoctions perfect for day-drinking. Try the Mimosa and Sangria, which are both available by the glass or by the carafe and the Green Bloody Mary is made with tomatillos. For more information visit chimichurribishoparts.com.
