Valentine’s Day isn’t just about chocolates and flowers; it’s also the perfect excuse to shake things up with some enchanting elixirs. Whether you’re celebrating with a significant other or your closest friends,  these Valentine’s Day cocktails will add a splash of passion to your festivities. Get ready to sip, savor, and feel the love in every carefully crafted concoction – because nothing says “I love you” like a well-mixed drink. Cheers to love on the rocks!

Chocolate Pomegranate Manhattan

Chocolate pomegranate martini

  • 1 oz bourbon whiskey
  • 1.25 oz Ballotin Original Chocolate Whiskey
  • 0.75 oz pomegranate juice
  • 12 drops Bittermen’s Xocolotl mole bitters
  • 16 drops Old Forester smoked cinnamon bitters
  • Garnish: melted chocolate rim on coupe glass, fresh arils

Combine whiskey, Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, pomegranate juice, and bitters in a shaker filled with ice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds and strain into a coupe glass with a chocolate rim. Garnish with a chocolate square and arils.

Disaronno Pink Velvet

Directions: Add all ingredients into a rocks glass and stir.

Raspberry Wheat 75

.5oz Old Elk Wheat Whiskey
.25 oz Raspberry Simple
.25 oz Lemon

Method: Combine all ingredients, top with sparkling rose and garnish with fresh raspberry

Cranberry And Sloe Gin Martini

Minke gin bottle and pink cocktail

50ml Minke Irish Gin
15ml Sloe Gin
15ml lemon or lime juice freshly squeezed
1 teaspoon cranberry jelly

Method: Add all ingredients to an ice filled shaker and shake until the shaker is cold. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a few cranberries.

Minke Raspberry Martini

Stirred, not shaken. Sweet and refreshing raspberries complement the smooth velvety texture and citrusy aromas of Minke Gin.


• 1.5 ounces Minke Gin
• .5 ounces Dry Vermouth
• .5 ounces Raspberry Syrup
• Garnish: Fresh or frozen raspberries

Method: Stir the gin, dry vermouth, raspberry syrup and ice together in a shaker or mixing glass. Double strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with raspberries.

Bourbon Raspberry Sour

2 parts Woodford ReserveDouble Oaked

.5 parts Chambord or Raspberry Syrup

.75 fresh Lemon Juice

3-4 Woodford Reserve Chocolate Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice, shake, and double strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with three skewed raspberries

Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb Bramble

1.5 ounces R&G Gin Full Strength
.75 ounces fresh lemon
.75 ounces sugar gomme syrup
.25 ounces crème de cassis


Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup and shake until ice cold

Strain into a rocks or tumbler glass filled with crushed ice and pour over the shaken mixture. Drizzle the crème de cassis over the top.

Garnish with an orange twist and a blackberry.

1.25 oz Tequila Bribón Blanco
0.5 oz Bauchant Orange Liqueur
1 oz cranberry juice
0.75 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1 dash orange bitters
Top with sparkling Rosé

Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice to vessel and shake. Pour into glass and garnish with lime round/wedge.

1.5 oz Dos Maderas Rum 5+3
3 oz unsweetened coconut milk
0.75 oz strawberry syrup
0.75 oz pineapple juice
0.5 oz lime juice

Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake to combine and strain into Double Rocks glass or Highball glass.

.5 oz Sorel
1.5 oz Vida Mezcal
.5 oz Lime
1.5 oz Pink Grapefruit
.5 oz Peppercorn Syrup
1 Dash Bitterman’s Hellfire Bitters
Orange Peel Garnish

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the mezcal, Sorel, lime, pink grapefruit, and peppercorn syrup to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass filled with ice. Add the dash of Bitterman’s hellfire bitters. Garnish with an orange peel. Enjoy!

  • 2 oz Baileys Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 oz Don Julio Blanco
  • 0.5oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 Fresh Strawberries Sliced
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters

Glassware: Coupe Glass

Garnishes: Garnish with a strawberry (slice, full, or chocolate dipped)

Preparation: Add 3-5 strawberries to cocktail tin, add remaining ingredients to tin, shake and fine strain into coupe glass, Garnish with a strawberry

Espresso Valentini

1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueuer
1 oz Ketel One Vodka
1 oz Freshley Brewed Espresso or Cold Brew Concentrate
0.5 oz Simple Syrup

Glassware: Martini

Garnish: Grated Chocoalte

Preparation: In a cocktail shaker, mix Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, premium vodka, sugar, and your freshly made espresso. Add ice and give it a robust shake until it’s ice-cold. Elegantly strain into a martini glass, creating a smooth pour. Garnish with grated chocolate.

Passion Play

0.75 oz Lime
0.75 oz Passion Fruit
0.5 oz Honey

Glassware: Rocks Glass

Garnishes: Grapefruit peel

Preparation: Rim a rocks glass with chili salt and fill it with one large ice cube, combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake hard for 5 seconds, strain into a glass and garnish with a grapefruit peel.

The Cheeky Peach

1.5 oz Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila

1 oz Lime Juice

0.5 oz Peach Purée

0.5 oz Cointreau

Peach Slices + Mint (Garnish)

Sugar/Salt for the Rim


Rim the edge of a glass with a lime wedge and dip in a mix of margarita salt + sugar. Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into rimmed glass with ice. Garnish with Peach Slices and Mint.

Pinkies Up

This romantic cocktail contains the perfect mix of The Naturalist , orgeat, blood orange cordial, and lemon juice, creating the perfect hot pink color for this sexy sipper.


  • 2 oz The Naturalist
  • 1/4 oz Orgeat
  • 1/2 oz Blood Orange Cordial
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a collins glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Availability: This cocktail is Still Austin’s Valentine’s Day special, so it will be available on the menu at the Still Austin tasting room beginning on Valentine’s Day and then shortly after.

Espresso Martini Soufflé with a Raspberry-Cacao Powder Heart

For the martini
1.25 oz. Fierce & Kind Vodka
1 oz. espresso or cold brew
.75 oz. Mario’s Hard Espresso
.25 oz. simple syrup
1 pinch of salt
For the foam
1 egg white
2 oz. water
1 oz. espresso or cold crew chilled (not a liqueur)
1 tsp white sugar
For the powder heart
1 cup freeze dried raspberries
2 teaspoons of cacao powder


Make the foam: Add egg white, sugar, water, chilled espresso and ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds. Remove the ice, then shake again for 30 seconds. Pour the foam into a straight-walled martini glass. Place the glass into the fridge while you prep the cocktail.

Make the cocktail: Add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, simple syrup and salt to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice then shake hard for 30 seconds. Poke a hole in the center of the foam using a straw. Carefully pour your martini mix into the hole. Your soufflé will rise up over the edge of the glass!

Make the Raspberry Cacao Powder: Pulverize freeze-dried raspberries in a food processor. Mix in the cacao powder. Dust over a heart-shaped stencil to add a little more love to your Fierce & Kind espresso martini!

Strawberry Smash

1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco or Casamigos Reposado Tequila

.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice

.75 Strawberry Purée (Suggest REAL)

4 Basil Leaves

Garnish 3 Heart-Shaped Strawberries through Skewer and Large Basil Leaf


Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Muddle basil. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into a small coupe glass. Using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, create heart-shaped strawberries and garnish.

Casa Bubbly

1 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila

.25 oz. Vanilla Syrup (Suggest Torani®)

2 Dashes Angostura® Bitters

1⁄2 Thick Rim Salt/Sugar/Cinnamon

Top off with Chilled Prosecco or Champagne

Garnish Sage Leaf Attached with Mini Clothes Pin or Floating in Cocktail


Wet 1⁄2 rim of glass with orange wheel or wedge then dip into salt mixture. Combine all ingredients, except prosecco/champagne into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rimmed champagne flute. Top off with chilled prosecco/champagne and garnish.
