Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the City Council for the City of Cedar Hill, Texas will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 7:00pm, in the T.W. “Turk” Cannady/Cedar Hill Room, located in the Cedar Hill Government Center, 285 Uptown Blvd. Cedar Hill, Texas, 75104; consideration and adoption of the proposed FY 2016-17 Budget for the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) will be on September 13, 2016 at 7:00pm; in accordance with Section 363.205 of the Texas Local Government Code.
A copy of the proposed FY 2016-17 Budget for the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) budget is available for inspection during the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday in the Office of the City Secretary, located in the Cedar Hill Government Center, 285 Uptown Blvd, Cedar Hill, Texas and on the City’s website: www.cedarhilltx.com.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the City Council for the City of Cedar Hill, Texas on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the T.W. “Turk” Cannady Cedar Hill Room, located in the Cedar Hill Government Center, 285 Uptown Blvd. Cedar Hill, Texas; consideration and adoption of the proposed Operating Budget and the Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 will be on September 13, 2016 at 7:00 pm. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $1,506,246 or (7.11%) and of that amount $331,748 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the roll this year.
